How Falcons United handles information from families, players and visitors to this website.

Falcons United is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth soccer organization serving Carteret, Onslow, Jones and Craven Counties in North Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through club registration, how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
This website does not have any forms that collect or store your information. If you contact us using the email or phone links on the site, we receive whatever you choose to send us, such as your name, contact details and your message.
Player and family registration is completed on PlayMetrics, a third-party registration platform. Information entered there, such as player and parent or guardian names, date of birth, address, contact details, emergency contacts and any medical or allergy information you provide, is handled under PlayMetrics' own privacy policy and is shared with Falcons United so we can run our programs safely.
Donations made through the Donate buttons on this site are processed by PlayMetrics, not by this website, and are handled under PlayMetrics' own terms and privacy policy. Falcons United is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and performance. Some pages embed content from third parties, including Google Maps on the About and Falcons Hub pages and a public weather service. These providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies when that content loads. This site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
This site links to the club's Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X and TikTok pages and to Facebook Messenger. Once you click through to one of those services, it collects information under its own privacy policy, not ours.

Falcons United exists to serve the youth. Registration information about a player who is a minor is provided by that player's parent or legal guardian, and we use it only to run our programs and keep players safe. If you believe a child's information has been provided to us without proper authorization, please contact us and we will address it. This website is written for parents and guardians and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We take photos and video at games, practices and club events, and we may use them on this website and on the club's social media pages. If you would like a photo or video of your child removed, email us at the address below and we will take it down promptly.
You can contact us at any time to review or correct the registration information the club holds about your family, or to ask a question about this policy. You can opt out of non-essential club emails at any time; we will still need to send important messages about safety, scheduling and registration.
We keep registration and club records for as long as needed to operate our programs and to meet league, legal, insurance and nonprofit requirements, then dispose of them securely.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be communicated to registered families.
